Today in SCIENCE we:- Did Current Events.
- Did Vocabulary #42.
- Talked about our SPACE MAGAZINE PROJECT.
- Looked at examples of completed magazines.
- Went to the library to see the resources & figure out a plan. What should your magazine include?
- Your Magazine is due on MONDAY MAY 18, 2009. Late assignments will not be accepted.
- If you do not finish this assignment you will not go on the field trip and will stay at school to complete it.

- Did a wordsearch. Every word on the wordsearch was a vocabulary word, do you UNDERSTAND all of the words & how they relate to ELECTRICITY? Finish for Homework.
- Read sia9 p361 - The Three Gorges Dam. What do you know about this project? What do you THINK about this project.
- HOMEWORK: read & understand & review what you don't understand sia9 p360, DO sia9 p363 #2-10. Format properly.
- Got field trip forms. BRING THEM BACK ASAP.

- Did a SHORT quiz on Resistance, Energy, Power. How did it go?
- Watched a silly video about static electricity, what happened?
- Talked about the St. Louis Motor. Looked at how one works. Wrote a journal entry: How does a St. Louis Motor work? Water the parts? What could it be used for? PUT IT IN YOUR JOURNAL DUOTANG!!!!

- Did Current Events??? Today was an open day. It was your chance to make up a missed current event. You can only get so many chances people, use them wisely.
- Talked about what you did before break - resistance.
- Progress reports - hand them back SIGNED.
- TUESDAY is the LAST day to make up any missed work. You had two weeks.
- Talked about POWER, and ENERGY. What is the difference? What UNITS to we use to measure each?
- Talked about ENERGY EFFICIENCY. What is it? How do we calculate it?
- Did the skill practice, sia9 p336. Do you understand how to do this?
- Short quiz on Wednesday.
- Do sia9 p338 #1-11. Due Wednesday. Will help you with the quiz on Wednesday.
