Today in SCIENCE we:

• Handed in our paragraphs
• Did 4 computer surveys to help us prepare for Riverwatch.
• Looked at what dissolved oxygen, phosphorous, and aquatic inverebrates are.
• What does the term biological indicator mean?
• Reviewed lab safety in our textbooks.

We have our field trip on THURSDAY.

• Be at the school for 8:15am
• bring a lunch
• bring something to write with and on
• wear and bring appropriate clothing

Please bring your BEST attitude & behaviour with you, I expect nothing less.

Today in SCIENCE we:

• Handed in our course agreement & field trip forms with money
• Handed in our Science is title pages
• Handed in our duotangs
• Talked about Safety and came up with our own Rules.....how can we display these so everyone understands them?
• Watched a video about water ways
• Why are we doing Riverwatch? Why is it important to learn about our own waterways?
• Due Tuesday: paragraph about why studying our rivers is important.

REMINDER: Tuesday is the last day to hand in Field trip forms and money.

Today in SCIENCE we:

• Reviewed our course agreement. Please review the outline with your parents and bring the last page back to me signed on FRIDAY.
• Talked about the RIVERWATCH program we will be participating in, please bring the forms back signed with the money on FRIDAY.
• Completed the "all about me" page and had a short chat with Ms. Wilson.
• Worked on a Science is title page, due FRIDAY.
• Don't forget you need two (2) duotangs for science class by MONDAY.
